On November 4th, 2023, Aware Together was invited to host a booth at the Frisco Inclusion Commitee and Baylor Scott & White Health's annual Diwali Mela. Our booth promoted the practice of arts and crafts as a method of stress relief. Attendees were provided with rangoli tile painting kits and encouraged to express themselves, cultivating a positive mindset towards mental health and self-care.

At this event, Aware Together met with Frisco Mayor Jeff Cheney and other influential figures in the community such as FISD Trustee Gopal Ponangi.
